MOLLUCS Molluscs are the largest  marine  phylum, comprising about 23% of all the named marine  organisms . Numerous molluscs also live in  freshwater  and  terrestrial   habitats . They are highly diverse, not just in size and in  anatomical  structure, but also in behaviour and in habitat. The phylum is typically divided into 9 or 10  taxonomic   classes , of which two are entirely  extinct .   Cephalopod  molluscs, such as    cuttlefish  and  octopus , are among the most  neurologically advanced  of all  invertebrates —and either the  giant squid  or the  colossal squid  is the largest known invertebrate species. The  gastropods      are by far the most numerous molluscs in terms of classified species, and account for 80% of the total. WORDS THAT YOU DON´T UNDERSTAND:  CUTTLEFISH:CALAMAR.

OMNI VORS    ANIM ALS.                                                 Omnivore is a consumption classification for animals that have the capability to obtain chemical energy and nutrients from materials originating from plant and animal origin. Often, omnivores also have the ability to incorporate food sources such as algae, fungi, and bacteria into their diet as well. Omnivores come from diverse backgrounds that often independently evolved sophisticated consumption capabilities.  For instance, dogs evolved from primarily carnivorous organisms  while pigs evolved from primarily herbivorous organisms . What this means is that physical characteristics are often not reliable indicators of whether an animal has the ability to obtain    and nutrients from both plant and animal m atter.     WORDS THAT YOU DON´T UNDERSTAND : COMSUMPTION:CONSUMO

HERBIVOURS  ANIMALS .  A herbivore is an animal adapted to eating plant material, for example foliage for the main component of it´s diet. As a result of their plant diet, herbivorous animals typically have mouth parts adapted to rasping or grinding. Horses and other herbivores have wide flat teeth that are adapted to grinding grass trek  bark and other tough plant material. A large percentage of  herbivores   have mutualistic  gut flora   that help them digest   plant matter ,  which is more difficult to digest than animal prey. This flora is made up of  cellulose - digesting  protozoans   or  bac teria . EXAMPLES : KOALA,GIRAFE, YAK,TORTOISE,ETC... WORDS THAT YOU DON´ T UNDERSTAND: GRINDING: MOLIENDA. WIDE:AMPLIO. TREK: TREKKING. MUTUALISTIC: MUTUALISTA.

CARNIVORES  ANIMALS. A  carnivore  , "meat eater" , is an  organism  that derives its  energy  and  nutrient  requirements from a  diet  consisting mainly of a nimals tissue ,  whether through  predation  or scavenging Animals that depend solely on animal flesh for their nutrient requirements are called obligate carnivores while those that also consume non-animal food are called  facultative  carnivores.  Omnivors also consume both animal and non-animal food, and, apart from the more general definition, there is no clearly defined ratio of plant to animal material that would distinguish a facultative carnivore from an omnivore. A carnivore that sits at the top of the f ood chain  is termed an  apex predator . EXAMPLES: LION,SNAKE,COCODRILE,JAGUAR ETC...             WORDS THAT YOU DON´T UNDERSTAND: FLESH:CARNE.

ARTHROPODS They constitute the moust numerous and diverse edge of the animal kingdom,it includes invertebrate animals endowed with an external skeleton and articulated appendages; among others ,insects,arachnids,crustaceans,etc... There are more than 1.200.000 described species mostly insects, representing at least 80%  of all knonw animal species, severals groups of arthropods are perfectly adapted to live in the air, just like vertebrates amniotes ,unlike all other phyla of animals, which are       aquatic or requier humid enviroments. It´s anatomy physiology and behavior reveal a simple but admirably effective design. REPTILES Reptiles are a  class of vertebrate animals with amniotes fitted with keratin epidermal scales. They were very abundant in the Mesozoic, time in which dinosaurs arose .  According to the traditional taxonomy, reptiles are considered a class, but according to the systematic cladistics, they are a paraphyletic group, there fore without taxonomic value; instead, the use of the Sauropsida clade has been preferred because it is monophyletic.
